Dermalize® SHIELD Ultrathin Absorbent Pads were specially developed for large-area tattoos and offer the perfect alternative for sensitive skin when conventional protective films cannot be used due to allergies (e.g., to acrylic adhesive). They are made of soft cotton with a waterproof PE layer and combine high wearing comfort with reliable protection.

Thanks to the ultra-fast absorption surface and long-lasting dry protection, excess ink and liquid are efficiently absorbed. The embossed surface prevents slipping on the skin, while a deodorized polymer provides additional comfort. The pads are individually removable, hygienically packaged, and come in a resealable bag.

Available sizes:

M (30 x 40 cm) – ideal for medium-sized areas

L (40 x 50 cm) – perfect for large-scale tattoos with high color saturation

Application:
Immediately after the tattoo session, apply the pad to the tattooed skin and secure it with tape. Repeat this process over the following hours or days until the skin is dry and no more fluids ooze. Typically, the skin is dry enough to resume your usual aftercare after 24–48 hours . We recommend using Dermalize® Protective Tattoo Film such as PRO, TOTAL BLACK, or PHANTOM Ultra-Thin .
