PowerBolt II – The Heart of the Machine

The improved PowerBolt II offers tattoo artists an optimized user experience and features a new in-house motherboard with the latest technological advancements as well as additional layers of electronic security.

The OLED digital display was designed for more intuitive and user-friendly operation. Tattoo artists can adjust all settings directly on the device using the display and the updated touchpad – without having to open the Darklab app. 

Menu options directly on the PowerBolt II: Main power display (Hz or V), secondary power display, voltage adjustment, footswitch pairing, eGive, timer, screen orientation, and travel lock (killswitch for air travel). 

eGive – Intelligent Spring Behavior

The eGive system ranges from Level 0 (deactivated) to Level 3 (softer hit). Once set, the device detects the tension of the needle cartridges used and automatically calculates via algorithm that the eGive consistently corresponds to the selected level. The result: more uniform stitches, less fatigue – throughout the entire session. 

Voltage Range & Precision

The PowerBolt II offers a larger voltage range than its predecessors, from 4 to 12V. The ability to work at a new low of 4V is ideal for techniques such as stippling. The voltage can be regulated in 0.1V or 0.5V increments – for maximum control in every technique. 

Design & Ergonomics

Made from 6061 T6 aluminum, the Flux Max has a more tapered design than previous Flux models and a redesigned mid-ring. The taper is similar to that of the Xion Gorilla Grip, but less aggressive. Diamond facets adorn the top of the grip, while the redesigned grip features indentations for greater comfort and ergonomics. 

Additionally, the machine is front-weighted for balance, allowing tattoo artists to glide effortlessly through long sessions. 

Maximum Compatibility

The Flux Max offers full compatibility with existing FK Irons accessories – including the Darklab Killswitch and the mobile app. The PowerBolt II can be swapped for the original PowerBolt or PowerBolt+ if needed. Tattoo artists can use both future FK Irons disposable grips and original Flux and EXO grips. Compatible with universal Cheyenne-compatible needle cartridges. 

Scope of Delivery

This version of the FK Irons Flux Max includes 2x PowerBolt II battery packs and a high-quality travel case with custom foam insert. Note: This product comes with a US plug. An EU adapter is recommended.
